Ms. Caitlin McGee, MA, LCMHC, LCAS

Ms. Caitlin McGee holds a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke located in Pembroke, North Carolina. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (#18521) and a Licensed Clinician Addiction Specialist (#28754). Caitlin has experience in counseling individuals, couples, and facilitating group therapy. She helps people with a wide array of concerns find solutions including depression, anxiety, grief, substance use and recovery, life transitions, and other challenges.

Caitlin uses a person-centered lens while utilizing interventions rooted in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Caitlin also utilizes somatic interventions when applicable to help find unity in body and mind. She meets her clients where they are at, walking alongside them in their journey to create lasting change in their lives. Caitlin provides clinical counseling and behavioral health services in our LifeWorks/Brian S Hissom & Associates, PLLC offices in Hickory and Morganton, in our Collaborative Care Management program at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist, and in employer-based medical clinics that we serve.
