LifeWorks / Brian S. Hissom & Associates, PLLC provides professional counseling, psychological, behavioral health, and employee assistance (EAP) services to help organizations, families, and people of all ages reach their full potential. With offices in Hickory and Morganton, NC, we also provide on-site services for employers, medical practices, and human services organizations.
Our Mission
Our Mission is to provide quality, effective, and confidential professional counseling, psychological evaluations, employee assistance, and behavioral health services while maintaining excellent relationships with physicians and other professionals who provide care for our clients. Our Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and Behavioral Health Services (BHS) place clinicians in employer clinics and medical practices. At LifeWorks/Brian S. Hissom & Associates, PLLC, we strive to make healthcare more available to our community by making our services accessible “where people already are.”
Your First Visit
When you call Brian S. Hissom & Associates, PLLC, you will talk with our office staff, who will guide you through the entire process of setting up an initial appointment, help you with questions you may have about your insurance coverage, the appropriate authorizations and referrals, determining your co-payment, and billing your insurance company. Professional services are available by appointment from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with later appointment times available Tuesday and Thursday.
