Susan Voorhees, MS, LPA
Ms. Voorhees has been a Psychological Associate for over 20 years. She earned her Master of Science degree in Psychology from Oklahoma State University in 1983. Over the course of her career she has worked with a wide range of people, from young children through adults, who are experiencing a wide range of difficulties. In addition to individual and family therapy, she provides evaluations to identify learning disabilities and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. She has specific experience in working with women and children who have experienced domestic violence. Ms. Voorhees utilizes cognitive therapy techniques with all ages, and incorporates Logo therapy principles to help people identify what is meaningful in their lives. She engages children with art and play therapy techniques as they talk and work on their emotional and behavioral issues. Ms. Voorhees specializes in working with families of particularly difficult circumstances.
